Welcome to Linlithgow Board Game Club!

Founded in 2019, we’re a passionate community of locals who gather to share our love of tabletop gaming in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re looking to make new friends, escape the house for an evening, or give your brain an exciting workout, you’ve found your tribe.

What We Do

We meet every few weeks on Saturday evenings for our regular gaming sessions, plus we host a couple of extended gaming marathons throughout the year for those who want to dive deeper into longer, more complex games.

Our doors are open to everyone – from curious newcomers taking their first steps into modern board gaming to seasoned strategists with years of experience under their belts.

Our game library spans the spectrum of modern tabletop gaming. You’ll find beloved classics like Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, and Splendor alongside more complex strategy games such as Concordia and Great Western Trail.

We also have a thriving Dungeons & Dragons group for those who enjoy role-playing adventures. Feel free to bring your own games to share, join in with what others are playing, or browse our growing club library to discover something new.

Where We Meet

Our regular Saturday sessions are generously hosted by Maisie Gray Pottery & Crafts, a lovely local venue that perfectly captures our community spirit.

While our gaming sessions are free to attend, we encourage members to support our hosts by enjoying their delicious food and drinks, including thoughtful vegan options. Please note that outside food and beverages aren’t permitted in the venue, but you’ll find everything you need right there. There’s no table charge – just bring yourself and your enthusiasm for great games!

For our special extended sessions, we gather at MacKinnon Scout Hall in Linlithgow Bridge, where we have more space to spread out and tackle those epic gaming adventures. There is a charge to cover the cost of hiring the hall, however we can our own bring food and drink, and make use of the kitchenette.

Our Community Values

We have a strong commitment to creating an inclusive, welcoming space for everyone. We’re passionate about introducing newcomers to the wonderful world of modern board gaming – there’s nothing that brings us more joy than watching someone discover their new favourite game or gaming style. Whether you’re drawn to deep strategic thinking or prefer lighter, more social gameplay, you’ll find kindred spirits here.

We celebrate diversity in all its forms and maintain a zero-tolerance policy for discriminatory behaviour or language. Our club is built on mutual respect, shared laughter, and the universal language of great games.

For more information, check out our Code of Conduct for members.
